This Is Deep..

One day Satan and Jesus were having a conversation.
Satan went to visit Jesus in the Garden of Eden,
and Satan came all happy and boasting. (Lk 4: 1-12; Job 1: 6-12)

"Yes, Lord, now I have everybody captive,
(well nearly everybody down there).
I set traps, I used the baits of temptation,
I know well what each one of them can't resist.
I nearly caught them all!" (I Pet 5: 8-9; Eph 6: 10-17)

"What are you going to do with them?" Jesus asked.
and He was praying to God the Father.

Satan answered "Oh, I am going to have some fun with them!"

I'll make them divorce after they have married
so the foundation of humanity will never be able to be established
"the family" (Mt 19: 4-6; Mal 2: 16)

I will make them hate each other and abuse each other,
make them fall into alcohol and drugs without control. (Rom 13: 12-14)

I will teach them to make weapons and bombs,
so they kill each other

"I am really going to have fun!"

"And when you are tired of playing with them, what will you do?"
Jesus asked. And continued praying

"Oh, I will kill them all and their souls will be mine forever"
"Lord by all respect, it's their decision" (I Jn 3: 8-10)

Happiness can't be bought

Close your eyes.. imagine what I see..

From a distance, my heart began to float from inside of my chest.. I was so speechless. It was beautiful. Ahead of me I saw beautiful blue waters had no other name but immaculate, emphasized by clear skies and pure white clouds overhead. The waves were as countable as the hairs on my head, as they hit the surface of land. Exhale. God is great.. Two gray handmade chairs sat under an exotic palm tree, awaiting us. The sand left grains on my feet as I walked towards the chairs.. in sync with it.

As we travel, hand in hand, I looked into those dark brown eyes, hinted with a dot that showed a melanin overflow, buttery smooth chocolate skin that made you question its authenticity, cheek bones of an royal African heir, a cute little nose. Here comes a smile.. that radiantly bright smile that showed off a set of straight white teeth, perfectly crafted lips that defined sweetness, not to mention those God made ears with creases in the right places. "I'm so glad you're here with me"..

As the breeze caught us both, he swiftly lifted my other hand from my side. I turned to face him. Handsome was his name. Crafted by the architect of all architects, from his physiological to his mental capacity, to his physical as a prince. There goes that smile again. A mutual smile graced his gorgeous lips as if he read my mind, and I'm sure he did. We all moved towards the handmade chairs, and sequentially sat down in each seat at the right time. I cant deny that we were surround by the radiance of peace and happiness of God. A sign of his approval. That is when I made my decision, we're made for each other.

Yet I was careful to hence the warning of the other one holding my hand, she said "Wumi, the happiness and peace of the almighty will reign in all aspects of your life and fulfill you with a tranquility that can never be replaced if you do one thing. That is to never deny that Jesus Christ is lord, and hold on to this hand forever.. let it go, and you let go of your happiness and your peace ".

I looked at her hand, and my eyes trailed back up to her identical face, I will never let go, I said.Which confirmed that "it" I was in sync with was the Holy Spirit, as me and handsome sat in our chairs.

All in all, there is not a currency that can pay for happiness and peace. Ultimately Happiness && Peace start with the teachings of Jesus Christ that are centered around LOVE. But in order to love others, you must love yourself. Embrace your body, from your eyes, to skin tone, to your cheeks, to your smile, even to your ears. Know who you are.

Observation: The week of Truth

..ekale
(goodevening in Yoruba)

Its me again, Ashlee. I've been gone for a long time, so I don't mind if you call me a stranger. Yet, I had to tell you where my mind had led me this week.

First and foremost, I thank God for his love and kindness and unconditional love. He proves as the only one that could never disappoint me. The only one that understands me, even when I don't understand myself. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

On another note, I've been distant this week.. from everything. Not for any specific reason. Sometimes you just need a break. Not be amongst your usual circle, not eat at the same time you eat, not sit in the same seat in class, just an overall shift. It gives you a different perspective on your surroundings. To observe the people that surrounded you from another point of view. I watched the way they responded, acted, looked, everything. Mind you I did not do this on purpose, nothing was planned, It just happened.

Now that I sit and think, there were some things that were different, but for the most part, these characteristics and factors were always there. They were just accepted as a norm for me. I know you're like, "what is she talking about".. okay, without being specific, lets say whenever you talk about yourself and your problems, you friends ignore you and move onto another subject. You may laugh it off and accept it like that or accept their silence as them understanding your problem, but eliminate that they would ignore you. Now, if you partake in this same situation as your distant self, observing your friends while in minor conversation, you notice things about their demeanor and how they handle you. You notice it because before you accepted it as a norm and gave an excuse. But the fact of the matter is that they were ignoring you. You won't notice that as their friend, but you will notice it as an observer.

Get it?

That particular situation was just an example, had nothing to do with my life. I noticed that the people around me are taking in the option of failure, and yet I fail to accept that word into my vocabulary. But hey, you gotta get it how yu live it. But I can say this, observation will tell a whole lot about people. Try it sometime though.

The Definition of Friend

Friends? The ones we laugh with, dine with, spill are hearts to, ask for advice, tell our ideas to, go out with, let borrow our belongings, build a tower of love and loyalty. Thats what friends are. Right? I looked up the word friend from two resources, each having 3 key properties to the word. A person to who you Know, Like, and Trust.

The friendship checklist..

I've noticed that "Friend" is used so very loosely these days. Meet a person and after a month you consider yourselves friends. I'd actually call that a homie. I mean, humans are so mysterious, you'll never know what they're really thinking and what their intentions are. Their unconscious minds are locked up in deep parts of their brain. So deep that they don't even know that they exist or how and when to retrieve them. Scientists or Psychologists are still on the persuit of dissecting the human brain in order to figure out its biological functions and processes. Why we do the things that we do, and when we do it, what caused that response. Are our instincts innate or conditioned?

Lets get back on track..

Rule number one is: Trust no one. I can dig it. Because people ride for self, and when it comes to saving them or you, its going to be them. Rule number 2: Think before you act. People today are reactors, and not thinkers. Reactors: people that dont think before they act and are face with the only choice to react when things go sour. You should have known the consequences before you did what you done and referred to rule number 1 which was to TRUST NO ONE. Why? Because no one cares about you more than yourself, so therefore you have to look out for yourself.

Moreover, you can never know someones heart towards you, only your heart towards them. The realest quote that I live by, because it is just so real. Me for example, I look out for people more than they want to look out for me. I go out of my way to please people, yet when it comes time for me to get help, I sometimes get the short hand of the stick. When my situation is in their lap, they review it and treat it as a petty case and don't give much effort. But can I stop doing good to people? Should I limit the good that I do? God said that my reward is in heavan, not here on earth. Their praises, and thank you's don't mean a thing but the mere tingle of carbon dioxide excaping into my nose.

Friends right?

Haha, its okay. I don't express my feelings too much unless something major was done to me, but God knows my heart and I'm sure that they do to. I bet you think this post is about you.. but really this is not directed at anyone in particular so don't get it twisted. Or maybe you're the one treating your friends like shit, think about how many people will have nice things to say about you at your funeral. Or if people will even show up. It's important to not worry of the risk of doing right, just do it, karma does work in good ways also.

Adoration

Over the past few days, I've yearned for someone. Don't get it twisted, not in a sexual way, but I just wanted him to be near me. Just to talk. Smile up at me. Hear his laugh. Notice him watching me, waiting for me to do something silly. Nothing more, and nothing less than that.

I love his adoration. Adoration you see, is a powerful thing. Everyone wants to be adored and wanted, and accepted. Everyone wants an admirer. Someone to tell them they're funny, smile in their face all of the time, or even when your mood changes they notice and ask you the problem. Even read your blog and ask challenge or question you about something you wrote. Ha. But it shows you that they're taking time to notice you, and take notes about you.

....and I love that.

The problem with dating and talking to someone these days is because one person, after time, tends to adore the other more than the other person adores them. Dig it? There is no balance you see, and what happens on a balance scale when one weighs more than the other? One rises and one falls.

There needs to be an Equilibrium. A balance. A sense that he/she adores you as much as you adore him/her.

Kiss and Tails: The Hollywood Jumpoff *Explicit*

Before Karrine Steffans, there were groupies, and after her there will be groupies. She just told her story to get more shine and more cash. Guess you gotta get it how you live it, and she's lived it. These men should'nt have messed with her in the first place, that how I see it, and they wouldn't be put on blast. We'll, there they have their encounters with her in black and white, on almost everyones book shelf. Oh well, you learn from your mistakes you fools. Anyway, I laughed throughout this movie. Especially at the stories these guys told about their groupie encounters. Akon?? Really?? I hope it was fake.. You'll understand when you watch.

Does anyone hear me?

With over 2000 years of civilization, man kind has learned to read, write, feel, walk, talk, and etcetera. Yet, has not learned to love. Selfish motives drive us to an individualistic mind-frame that is not of us, but of an European state of mind which we as original Africans have forcefully adopted. But that is another topic. I'm sure if you're a reader, you notice that I talk about love a lot. Friends. Associates. Strangers. Next door neighbors come to mind when people are in need of help.

Why is it so hard for people to love unconditionally. Is it because they are scared to have their hearts broken? Scared that they may do a good deed and the person to whom they helped may not show gratitude? Jesus said that if your brother was to slap you, turn the other cheek. But can people do that?

Everyone is still stuck in their dark alley on lovers lane.

This video should open your eyes to the conspiracies. Enjoy.

Spread Your Word

For the first time since I've been living in Houston, I've passed Lakewood Church numerous times. Yet, today was the day that God said I'd find myself seated in a chair, listening to Joel Osteen's ministration. A seed was forever planted in me, which is invisibly at this moment, changing my life. I mouthed during the benediction that I will never be the same, never, never, never, and it will been so.

He spoke of these new generation of seedless watermelons that we all enjoy eating during the summer. Although they have been genetically altered, they taste good and don't create much of a hassle since you don't have to worry about constantly spitting out seeds. Nevertheless, these altered watermelons can not reproduce, which is the reason seeds are made. So, after these seedless watermelons are eaten, that's the end of their short investment to the world.

Investment is the key word. When people think of investment, they think Wall Street, or buying a house, or investing in a business. Its not exactly that type of investment that I speak of, but the investment of your time to people. To your friends, your family, neighbors, or even a stranger you see with a frown on their face, a simple smile can turn their day around. Moreover, by investment, I mean to pass down something that has held you over through tough times. Lessons that you have learned. Secrets to a business that someone else could use. Techniques in areas that you have experiences in. Useful information that you know other people should know is essential to your happiness when they report their success. By adding value to them, you have added value to yourself and God will help you to accomplish your goals also. Whatever you decide to install into people will forever last inside of them.

Throughout the years of interacting with different races, genders, and cultures, I see the problem to achieving excellence and breakthrough is due to, but not limited, to three things, especially in the black community. They include, selfishness, arrogance, and ignorance. People want to be prosperous, but don't want to help other people become prosperous. I think that some people fear that if they give out their secrets and techniques to their success, they may get out-done. The spotlight will be removed from them, and onto whoever. Which should never be the case. When someone asks you for information and you try to go around it and not tell them, they KNOW what you're doing, and will remember you for that. Although, they came to you for a reason right? I personally want to be known for being a leader, helper, counselor, and mentor. Where I am going, I want to take as many people as I can. What do you think it means when people say "Its lonely at the top". Excellence is shown through serving society instead of living for self. Your contribution to the world entails how your legacy will be told. Think of what do you want people to say about you when you die?

Arrogance is the number one killer of success. How can you need help and also be arrogant at the same time. Sean Combs aka P. Diddy said that when he started to work as a teenager, the first characteristic that he removed was arrogance. What does that tell you? He's a multi-millionaire now, and you're still still sitting on that high horse of yours thinking its all is peachy-cream. Look, there are people who LIVE in this world, and there are people that are just alive. If you don't see the difference, then you need to re-evaluate your state of being. There are people who live an intentioned lives, who feel they have a purpose to serve and those that live intentioned lives, where they they attitudes are carefree and nonchalant. Live an intentioned life.

A seedless watermelon is generated to be eaten without reproduction. A normal watermelon is grown to be eaten and to produce more watermelon. In essence, when you plant a seed of vital information into a person, they then will grow, and with that seed you have planted, they will plant more into other people. Don't continue to keep things to yourself when you know people need know the information you have, spread it all around so other people can be blessed. Sow a seed, so it can grow and continue to live on, even if you are gone. Speak faith into the lives of other people even if it seems in vain now, they will understand its meaning in the future. Joel spoke of a elderly woman that went to his church before when it was at the old location, she would come to the church early in the morning, sit in her seat and begin to pray. She wasn't what most people would call wealthy, or didn't seem like she had what people would call talent, but what she could do was pray. Every time he would walk her way in the sanctuary, she would call him over and pray for him for about 2-3minutes. Every time he walked into the church, it would never fail, she'd call him to pray for him, and he'd smile on the outside, but on the inside he think, "Ohhhh mann, why did I have to walk over here". Throughout the years, she'd taught him how to pray, even though he dreaded it then, she sowed that seed into him and look at him now.

You may think you do not have a talent, but through just words, friendly gestures, discussing past experiences that you've learned, or even taking someone under your wing to mentor serve as sowing a seed. Pass on everything good, you will never be more fulfilled until you install something into someone elses life. We are living a legacy that will be either remembered or forgotten. Why leave a will and no life lesson to your children? It is more useful to leave something in them, them for them. I'm sure there are some people that you look up to and have cativated you. We are put on this earth to encounter other people, with a greater benifit to affect them positivitly than negatively . What do you have that you can pass on?

Lovely Misconceptions Continued

What more can I say about my love life you ask? Well, unlike some people, I cherish my worth and the priceless price tag attached to me. My rack is located in the back of the back where custom made orders are filled to be tailored, while all already made designers have crafted items for your purchasing needs in the store. It might hurt your feels that your order may not be ready for you yet, but like they say, you cant rush perfection.

In essence, what I am trying to say is that many women sell themselves cheap as if their placed on the sales rack. What they don't understand is that, that is where most people shop first. Use your context clues to figure out what i'm insinuating. Pause. Most men see what cheap things they can get on sale before their money runs out. Sale is you, money equals their lifetime. Then when they get the big stacks, they go straight to the tailor in the back of the back, to choose what they want. See, the logic? Like they say, when the desireable is not available, the available is desireable. Pause.

I've come across many people in my life to know that men do testers to see what they can get away with. If you're an easy target, you'll fall into their trap, which doesn't gurantee commitment, and you'll probably get upset and feel played. I personally haven't been there, but from what my friends tell me about, its all the same shyt.

I don't give a flying shyt about nice words, I can play on words too. Its character trill (true and real) actually genunine actions that should count as worth something. Watch how he treats you with his friends, and if you haven't met his friends yet??? Pause. Moroever, don't get involved with a guy if you haven't sat down with yourself and your God to discuss if you should be involved with that kind of person. There are people who are set in place as traps to detour you away from your goals and destiny. Pay close attention to the signs. Not everyone that acts like they like you really like you. Some have goals to destroy you and take your spot or even just to use you for what you have.

I keep it real %100, and I don't hide my feelings if i dislike. One thing about girls is that if they're content, there are no complaints. If there are complaints, then you need to re-evaluate yourself and what you're doing. Clearly you're not appealing to her in a certain way or pestering or pressuring too much. In my case, I get a lot of clashers, pesturers, and pressurers. I'm very patient though, I hold in until I snap, and thats when the aggressive african comes out. Beware. Just keep it cool, and we'll vibe great.

Ahh, again i'm tired of talking about me. Next segment coming soon.

Lovely Misconceptions about I

My post today was going to be about other peoples love, as it is 8 times out of 10 posts, but I decided to switch it up. I want to talk about myself. How I roll, and the misconceptions people tend to have about me.

First and foremost, I'll tackle my love life. Yeah, I know what I said in the beginning, but this is different cause I'm not in love! Ok, moving on. One thing about me is that I fall into like very easily. But, that is circumstantial, because I can't do it with just any guy. It doesn't depend on money, cars, clothes, but what occurs in the time we're amongst ourselves. Money doesn't really matter to me because the government can change currency (as their doing now google the Amero) and change our money into bottled water. Cars, I don't care for because it's not in my name. And clothes, because he still might stink. Ever talk to a funky fresh(fly) dude? I have. As I was saying, as we're amongst ourself, maybe he's making me laugh, being openly nice indirectly, so it could not be to me specifically, compliments flow unforced, our vibe is undeniably grand and I can talk to him for hours w/o argument. Shows that he believes in me and my dream, no matter what is the greatest love you can give anyone, and it means so much to me. Those are characteristics that play a part in who I like. Obviously everyone cannot share that type of relationship because not everyone's personality matches.

Now, no one should be confused, puzzled, or perplexed about my decisions to like a guy. Plus, I know when a guy forces it. 10 out of 10 times it's already too late.

Ahh, now i'm tired of talking about myself. Until the next segment...

Latoya Jackson says "Michael was MURDERED"

Latoya Jackson is speaking out on her brother's death -- and she's making some pretty rough assumptions as to what actually happened to Michael Jackson.

"I believe Michael was murdered," Latoya told the U.K's Mail On Sunday. "I felt that from the start. Not just one person was involved, rather it was a conspiracy of people. He was surrounded by a bad circle. Michael was a very meek, quiet, loving person. People took advantage of that. People fought to be close to him, people who weren't always on his side."

Latoya is convinced that Michael's "shadowy entourage" is responsible for supplying the superstar with drugs that eventually killed him.

"They got him hooked on drugs," she said. "He was pure and clean and then drugs came back into his system. I think it shocked his system so much it killed him."

"He had needle marks on his neck and on his arms and more about those will emerge in the next few weeks," she said. "I cannot discuss that any further as I may jeopardize the investigation. I can, however, say that I have not changed my mind about my feeling that Michael was murdered."

MIchael's sis also called him "the loneliest man in the world," and swears he was forced to do those 50 concerts he had scheduled in London.

"It's impossible even for a healthy person to do that many shows," she said. "Michael was fragile. He always wanted to believe the best of people. But he was meek. In the last few months, he became isolated. I believe the staff were given strict instructions that if any of the family called, not to tell him. And if any of the family came by, not to let them in."

The Jacksons, Latoya said, plan to file a civil lawsuit against anyone they feel contributed to Michael's drug use -- should that be determined the cause of his death.

"I am going to get down to the bottom of this," she said. "I am not going to stop until I find out who is responsible. Why did they keep the family away? It's not about money. I want justice for Michael. I won't rest until I find out what -- and who -- killed my brother."

"I'm doing what I can to find out how he died. If he died of a drug overdose, then I want to find who supplied him the drugs and who first introduced him to them," she said. "We've still not had a chance to speak to Dr. Murray about Michael's final days. I need to know what he may have seen or heard."

She also claimed, the newspapers reported, that roughly $2 million (1.23 million pounds) worth of cash and jewelry was taken from Michael Jackson's rented mansion and has not been accounted for.

She added: "Michael didn't have to die. We are all mourning his loss, more than anyone can ever know. But we are also determined to get to the bottom of what happened to him."

"It will all come out. You will be shocked," she warned.

La Toya is equally determined to resolve the custody battle between Katherine Jackson and Debbie Rowe over Michael's two eldest children, Prince, 12, and Paris, 11 (La Toya confirms that Blanket, 7, was conceived with a donor egg and donated sperm and that his biological parents are unknown).

Short and Simple

I suspect he's told me lie after lie, after lie...after lie. I don't
understand why, because really, we're not together. So, what would cause
him to lie?

Busy is the excuse, occupied is the state that's always used. And later
is when he says he'll hit me up. A busy ass lie is what I think, but
patience is a virtue that I have 98% expertise in it. Yet he thinks I'm
stupid. I mean he has the time to be on TWITTER all day,and all night
cause he following kid cudi but I can't ever get a "what's up" text? Is
it because he doesn't like me like that? Or is it because I'm not on his
important list? I could call and not get a phone call back.. Ever. If a
guy was feeling a girl, wouldn't he, no matter how busy his day is, make
it a point to text her or hit her up at least once a day? The answer is
obvious, so I'm letting him go. Permanently.

As I listened to my friend tell her story, I recommended not to burn
that bridge, because he's probably waiting to cross over it, showing
caution to the street signs. Guys need to be for certain if what they're
inspecting is worth purchasing. She agreed.

Scholarships at PVAMU

At Prairie View A & M University, there is a new program called the Presidential Scholarship Program that are developed to assist those students who do not have the ability to pay for college. These scholarship are not specifically based on income so that is a new factor to which people have been complaining about, yet your GPA must be from 2.25-3.0. Unitiled... so just read

Distraught. Confused. Manipulated. Forced to cope. I describe our ancestors during slavery, who carried our freedom on their on their backs as they took the beatings and verbal abuse. Taken from their rightful homes, in order to fulfill a selfish mans greedy dreams. Culture was stripped from their clothes, memories from their belongings. Yet, they still made music. Music heals the soul. Drums beating, foots stomping, eyes closed so the melodies could take them to a peaceful land. Horns, dancing, singing, praising the one and only Universal God. Thanks being given to Jesus for dying for their sins. Thanks that they still, had each other.

Yet. Culture was still stripped from them. They had to adapt. To the scraps that were left from the white mans kitchen. A diet that did not fulfill their hungry or their melanin on their skin. We may all be humans first, but our bodies do differ in the essence that what white people eat is not good for us. We had more pigment in our skins which cause for a different diet. Look at the statistics, African-Americans are usually in high risk for most of the diseases. High Blood pressure, Diabetes, and others. Why is that so? FOOD! I was shocked when I found out that people still ate chitlins and meatloaf, among other scraps that they formulated into meals. Overall, even though culture has been stripped from African Americans, there is an alternative that should be taught to your children. First and foremost, CANDY IS UNHEALTHY. No matter how many calories are taken out, or "no sugar added" it doesn't matter, its all chemicals that are mixed with color added to it. If you don't like processed chicken, go to your local butcher shop and ask for the 5 for $20. Which is 5 chickens for $20. Healthier chicken, and you get to chose which one you want. Cut out sweet things. Cancer cells feed from sugar.

Remember, we eat to sustain our bodies.

Chris Brown and Amber Rose

I heard that they're seeing each other now. I'm sure it didn't take her too much to snag chris since he's considered damaged goods as far as beating Rihanna almost to a pulp. She's a freak though, so it probably turns her on. They're cute together though.

Fulani Pride

On my most recent trip to Nigeria, I traveled to Kwara state, where a lot of Fulani people stay. Selling Wara, a form of cheese that we eat in Nigeria. The Fulani Tribe, which is also apart of my bloodline has a bravado like none other. They stick to their traditions until date. Which include facial tattoos, face piercings, and colorful everything. They have the most beautiful tattoos that have a traditional sense and are acquired after puberty for women and also some are given in essence of marriage. Their color beads, clothes, jewelry, hairstyles will make anyone stare hard. I'm sure they were the ones that developed the style of colorful makeup. You know I did. I wish I had my camera, because I would've taken pictures of the beautiful woman that I saw during my visit. Captivating.
